About the event

The importance of mindfulness in helping us get in touch with our internal and external experiences cannot be overstated in this busy and screen driven world. We are often so distracted in our multi-tasking lives that we rarely take moments to tune into the experiences and gifts of the present moment. Mindfulness allows us an opportunity to pause and get in touch with ourselves in a deep and reflective way. When was the last time that you practiced this valuable self-care? 


What you can expect: We will explore mindfulness strategies each week as an act of healing, self care, and self empowerment.  We will learn about breathing, visualization, and emotional regulation tools to aid in relaxation in the moment and to develop skills that will aid us in our day to day conscious lives.
